The number of reported cases of sexual abuse and online exploitation of children is continuously rising, both in Romania and worldwide. In 2023, eLiberare compiled data provided by the responsible institutions.

Study on Young People’s Perception of Online Risks
The study is a quantitative research report launched by eLiberare in collaboration with IZI Data, targeting young people aged 15–25 who use the internet. Its purpose was to identify young people’s perceptions regarding the main advantages as well as the potential risks that arise in the online environment.
Study: Survivors of Human Trafficking’s Perspectives
on Community Actors
The study contains perspectives from survivors of human trafficking on the contexts in which victims of exploitation could have been identified and potentially helped by third parties, ranging from specific professional categories (nurses, police officers, gendarmes, doctors) to general categories (citizens, clients) with whom they interacted during their exploitation.
